Frequently Asked Questions.
Here are some common questions about Bouncy Castles.

How do we power the blower for the bouncy castle?

A standard household plug is all that is needed to inflate and run your bouncy castle.

How far away from a plug can we set a castle up?

We supply 25-metre leads as standard. If you think you’re going to need longer leads please call us to discuss your needs before you book.

How much space do I need for a bouncy castle?

You should check the space you have carefully – as well as fitting in the dimensions of the bouncy castle, you need to leave 1 foot of clearance at each side of the bouncy castle, as well as 5 feet clearance behind for the blower. We can advise you on the right dimensions of bouncy castle for the space you have, if you’re unsure.

How do we pay?

Payment is taken by the driver in cash when we deliver your bouncy castle or other package. You can pay by cheque, care or bank transfer prior to delivery – if you wish to choose this option, please ensure you contact us to pay in advance.

What time do you deliver the bouncy castle?

We deliver from 7am until 12 noon. If you require special delivery times please inform us on the booking form or give us a call. Generally set up takes up to an hour.

What time do you collect the bouncy castle?

We pick up castles between 6pm and dusk. Generally the first delivered is first to be collected. If you have special requirements please call us and we will be happy to help. Generally, it can take half an hour to set the castle down and pack it up.

Can we keep the bouncy castle overnight?

Overnight bouncy castle hire is usually available, subject to the garden or setup area being secure overnight. We will make an extra charge for this service.

Do you staff the bouncy castles?

We are happy to supply staff with any of our inflatables, at an hourly charge.

Are bouncy castles safe?

When used properly and according to safety guidelines, bouncy castles are a safe and fun place to play. Children should always be supervised when playing on a bouncy castle. When we deliver a bouncy castle to you, we’ll talk you through basic safety protocols, so you know how to supervise children using it during the hire period. All the bouncy castles we hire out are checked and cleaned thoroughly, and comply with all the latest safety standards.

Can you give me advice on the best sort of bouncy castle for our party?

Of course. If you’re not sure about the most appropriate size or type of bouncy castle for your event, please get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to advise. The most suitable bouncy castle will depend on things like the amount of space you have and the number of children who will be playing on it.

What happens if the weather is bad?

You can cancel a booking on the day of your hire if the weather is bad. We also reserve the right to cancel a booking in the event of extreme weather or high winds. If you’re worried about the weather when you book, then why not consider hosting your bouncy castle in an indoor space instead?

Are you insured?

Yes. We are fully insured and are happy to provide written confirmation via email or on paper if you require this. We ask all customers to sign a disclaimer form as we cannot be held responsible for what your children do when we are not there. This is standard practice for any hire company.

I don’t have a venue for my party yet – can you help me?

Yes. We know the local area very well and so we can always help by recommending potential venues for your party.
